Introduction
I have worked as a speech and language therapist (SLT) since qualifying in London in
2005. I spent 15 years working as an SLT within the NHS, mainly with adult clients. The NHS Trusts I have worked for include: Guys and St Thomas’s NHS Trust, Dorset Healthcare NHS, and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. I specialise in supporting communication and swallowing difficulties arising from stroke, dementia, brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions such as MND, Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease. I also work with autistic adults. I am able to use Makaton signing and I have BSL Stage 1. My approach to therapy is to provide a personalised, holistic service, taking care to set meaningful goals and make a positive difference
to your quality of life.
